HADES
oil on canvas (2026)
80 x 100 cm
(on exhibition autumn 2026)
At the edge of a dark and crowded world, Hades sits in silent contemplation. This painting captures how he choose stillness — a pause between judgment and surrender, between thought and realization. More than a mythological scene, it is a reflection on the human condition in our nowadays of moral exhaustion, and the weight of our collective choices.
For collectors drawn to art with depth and symbolism, this work offers a powerful presence: an intense possibility to reflect, disconnect from noise, and enter the silent space where true introspection begins.
PANDORA
oil on canvas (2026)
60 x 80 cm
(on exhibition autumn 2026)
Pandora. Part One. Pandora was created during a time overshadowed by an almost endless flood of war, cruelty, and disturbing news from around the world. This painting became my way of processing it all — not intellectually, but emotionally. As new images of destruction and human darkness appeared every day, painting turned into a form of reflection, almost like a quiet ritual against helplessness and emotional exhaustion.
I was especially drawn to the figure of Pandora, not simply as the bringer of evil into the world, but as a symbol of the eternal human question: where does darkness come from? The shadows emerging from her box represent everything we are witnessing once again in our own time — fear, violence, hatred, and loss. Yet her expression carries no fascination with chaos, only grief, compassion, and contemplation.
These old gods and timeless stories give me a sense of structure and permanence while trying to understand the conflicts of the modern world. In an age defined by speed, constant noise, and endless streams of information, mythology feels grounding — as if humanity has always transformed its deepest fears, suffering, and hopes into symbols and stories.
